That probably won’t be the last I see of the budget, but the big crunch is over. My headache, however, seems inclined to stay with me for the rest of the day. It has been a rough rough week folks. Every night this week, when I am done with work, or yoga, or what-have-you, and have settled into the couch in my new pjs, I have thought, “thank God that this week is over”. Then I would realize that the week was in fact, not over, that it was in fact, Tuesday.
Damn, I would say.
Every day this week has felt like a whole week in its own right, and has left Miss-Edith a little tired and a wee bit grumpy. Not too grumpy though. Homelife is good. Everyone is cleaning up after themselves, and it seems to be taking well. As a result, I have gotten much less anal about the house. I no longer feel the need to have it spotless, being content with a lived-in cleanliness. I think I was just so frustrated with my inability to keep the dishes under control that I took it out on the rest of the house, making sure that not one mote of dust escaped my telescoping feather duster. Actually, I am still right on the dust. I like to watch my trash TV on a clear screen thank you very much. No dust shall obstruct my view of Dan Barbato’s Man Breasts.
While I’m on the subject of reality TV, you’ve all heard about the Sarah chick from Joe Millionaire right? Of course you have, you all keep up with your web reading.
Sorry I don’t have too much to say today. My brain is rather fried from all the spreadsheets and though I can remember the subjects I considered for today’s entry, I can no longer remember why said subjects seemed at all entertaining, or any witty phrases attached to said subjects. I am just looking forward to naptime.
Boyfriend and I were both feeling kind of congested and headachy this morning, and I hope we aren’t coming down with anything. Maybe that’s why we both overslept. I still would have been able to get to work on time if I had let the alarm clock wake up Boyfriend, but I have my priorities straight:
1) Nookie
2) Work
So, I was a couple of minutes late in.
Reasons why I am better than your average alarm clock:
1) I don’t beep
2) I swallow
If I can get rid of this headache I might post again, but if not, I am just going to web-surf all day and stare into space thinking, “Thank God this week is over”
At least this time I will be right.
Much Love to you all,
Miss-Edith
